Tips & Techie Tricks
Here are a few of the tools that I use… Oh, and YES, they ARE affiliate links. But don’t worry, I tell it like it is and wouldn’t recommend these products and services if I didn’t think they were useful.
Evernote – It’s my brain outside my brain. The human version of an external hard drive. I keep everything important here, from really special memories of my kiddo to receipts to travel itineraries to websites I want to save for later. Every. Thing.
A Small Orange – Web Hosting. If you’re in business online, ya need it.
Freshbooks – Currently, as a VA, I need a way to bill my clients by the hour. As well as track my expenses and generate a Profit & Loss so I can prove to banks and stuff that I actually do make money. Try FreshBooks Free for 30 Days
Webinar Jam – Such an amazing tool for hosting webinars. All in one solution and totally worth the investment.
MadMimi – For email list management. You know, I hadn’t actually heard of MadMimi until a friend who’s a musician introduced me to her. Now we’re besties. Scaleable subscription pricing, super user-friendly, and kinda sassy.
LastPass – Hey there, you with the online business… just how many usernames and passwords do you have, anyway? For your bank accounts, website hosting, email list management, social media accounts, task management accounts? And do you LIKE typing those in every single time you go to a page? Cause I don’t. LastPass does that for me. And also lets me share login info with my team without having to give them the keys to the kingdom. It’s pretty awesome. Even works on your tablet or phone with a paid membership. They also have an Enterprise version. Sweet!
