Launching Gives Me A Headache

It’s 12:27am and I have a wicked headache.

Earlier tonight, around 7:30 actually, I called my mom almost in tears because I just. needed. help.

I was completely overwhelmed. Dishes were piled up, there were messes everywhere, I smelled awful, and I had no clean clothes.

Oh, and did I mention I have a 4 year old I still hadn’t fed dinner to at that point? Yeah…

So mom to the rescue, she came over with food and did dish and fold-laundry duty which helped enable me to get crackin’ on the rest of the areas that needed TLC.

Have I mentioned I live in a 33 foot travel trailer? Like the kind people take on camping trips?

A little mess goes a long way, but conversely a little help does, too.

It can be a tough pill to swallow sometimes – this concept of asking for help when you need it. Knowing when you’re in over your head, or when you just need someone to help prop you up for a minute. I spend a lot of my time in life and business playing that role to others, and I know I can’t be the only one who feels that way.

What could you really use some help with right now? What’s something that you’re denying help with from someone who is nearby and willing?

    Hi Kim,

I got to your website via Reese Ben-Yaakov’s website. I just wanted to say that I really love the design of your website and also your blogs. It helps me remember that we all start from somewhere. I am just started my virtual assistant business (if you can call it that, I haven’t landed my first client yet), but I’m hopeful. The thing is I’m still working on my skills, been taking some course through VAClassroom.com. If you get a chance please take a look at my website and tell me what you think. I know it’s still a work in progress, but that is one of the courses I’m taking (WordPress Specialist) so I’m putting what I’ve learned to practice. Thank you for your time!

Oh my goodness, Marisol, I’m not sure how I never noticed this comment to reply to it but here I am 8 years later. Haha. I hope you’ve learned and grown a lot – would love to hear where you’re at now. 🙂
