On February 27, 2013 at 9:13am, I was driving to my lawyer’s office to sign divorce papers.
That also happens to be when the notification came through that my first bid as a self-employed freelance administrative professional had been accepted.

I took that as a sign. I was on the right path, even if in many ways it didn’t look like it.
I’m tired. It’s now 11 years later, and it’s 11:48pm.
I should be working on client deliverables but I feel compelled to write.
Today I recorded my first “big” podcast episode and I’m kind of a mess over it. I know I was too stiff and nervous and I wonder if my fidgets were too loud at points and I wonder if I said like and um too much and I wonder if anybody is going to like the episode or if it’s going to be their least downloaded episode of all time and the list goes on.
Such is the life of this ADHD brain of mine.
But thanks to this big deadline I finally go the new website live that I’d been sitting on for months.
And I started a new social media account that’s JUST for business posts.
So hey, if nothing else, it helped me get those projects moving.
I’m grateful for the opportunity and I’m hopeful that something cool arises out of it.
Sort of like this business of mine that came out of putting myself out there with an E-Lance (RIP) bid. 😉
